Who is responsible for your data

The controller is MILINA AI, S.L. (Sociedad Unipersonal), NIF B05625777, Calle Alejandro Dumas 17, 29004 Málaga, Spain. Contact: support@dikoo.fr.

The data we process

Lawyers: first name, surname, professional body or Bar, registration or roll number (optional), town or city, email address and the date of consent.

Members of the public: email address, town or city and the date of consent.

Our hosting provider also records technical data about requests (for example the IP address and time), which is needed to run and secure the website, including to limit abusive use of the form.

Why we use your data

To add you to the DIKOO waiting list for the United Kingdom.

To send you a single acknowledgement email after you sign up.

To contact you by email to let you know when the service opens in the United Kingdom.

We do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell or pass on your data.

Lawful basis

We rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR and of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the EU GDPR, which applies to us as a company established in Spain). You give it by ticking the box on the form, which is never pre-ticked.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdraw it (Article 7(3) of the UK GDPR and of the EU GDPR).

Technical request data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who receives your data

Only authorised staff of MILINA AI, S.L. can access your data. We use the following processors:

Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting.

Neon (Neon, Inc., United States): database, hosted in the Frankfurt region (European Union).

Resend (Resend, Inc., United States): sending the acknowledgement email.

This website does not use analytics cookies or third-party tracking tools.

International transfers

Your data is stored in the European Union. The United Kingdom treats the countries of the European Economic Area as providing an adequate level of protection (Data Protection Act 2018, Schedule 21, paragraph 5).

Vercel, Neon and Resend are established in the United States, so your data may be accessible from outside the European Economic Area. These transfers rely on Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795 (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) for companies that participate in it and, where applicable, on standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission (Article 46 of the EU GDPR).

How long we keep your data

We keep your data until the service launches in the United Kingdom, and for no longer than 24 months after you sign up. It is then deleted.

You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to support@dikoo.fr.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Chapter III of the UK GDPR), as well as the right to withdraw your consent. To exercise them, write to support@dikoo.fr. We will reply within one month; this period may be extended by two further months where necessary because of the complexity or number of requests (Article 12A of the UK GDPR).

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK data protection regulator, the ICO (ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint). You can also contact the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es), which supervises our establishment in Spain.

Children

The form is intended for adults.
